{Undressed}

This gal may be old, but
she’s got beautiful bones, doesn’t she?
Somewhere through the years,
she got “undressed”,
but I think that’s part of her charm.
I keep thinking about getting her
reupholstered, she’s elegant just the way she is,
even if not very practical as furniture.
If I had a bricks and mortar shop,
I’d let her great everyone at the doorway.
I wonder what she looked like in her younger years.
I’m sure she was a real “looker”.
This gal is slightly younger, but still pretty old.
She had “clothes” when I got her,
but my mom and I thought we could
give her a new dress.
As you can see, we didn’t get very far.
But I think she’s quite pretty this way too,
even though she’s slightly under-dressed.
Someday, I hope to finish her “clothes”
so she can be used again.
But the day was so beautiful, I decided to
give them both some fresh air and sunshine.
And to let them I know I think they
are lovely…just the way they are.
My daughter’s horse wasn’t terribly impressed
when I put the pretty, linen on his back.
I had to sneak it on him, because
when I first walked up to him with it,
it made him nervous and he wouldn’t
let me near him with it.

Hope you are having a day filled with lots of beauty.
Blessings,
Angie

  1. Have one of these naked chairs. She hides-out in the barn.

maybe I should take her out of there and show her some daylight and affections!
