Wow! Day #1 of my blog anniversary celebration
was so much fun! I had a hard time tearing myself away
from the computer all day. There was so much inspiration shared at the
Knick of Time Tuesday Blog Hop and I discovered many
new blogs and made some new friends – I hope you did too!

Today I’m thrilled to pull up a chair on my blog “porch” for
I’ve been following Liz since before I became a blogger
and love both her style and her very kind & comfortable personality!
I have a special spot in my blogging heart for Liz,
because she hosts the link party Time Travel Thursday each week,
and was the first blog to feature one of my posts.
In fact, she featured me 2 weeks in a row and it was
(and still is) such an honor! I hope you’ll drop in
and say “hi” at her blog – you’ll be blessed by your time there!

Without further ado – welcome, Liz!
Hi everyone! I’m Liz of The Brambleberry Cottage,
and I’m so excited to be here to help my sweet friend, Angie,
celebrate the anniversary of her first year blogging!
If you’re a follower of Angie’s blog, you know she always has something
wonderful to share with us—her latest vintage finds, the wonderful treasures she sells in her
Etsy shop, or terrific DIY tips.
And if you’re not a follower…
you need to be! ; )
Hmmm! So what do I tell you about myself?
Well, my hubby and I live on a beautiful, little organic farm on the edge of a national forest…
with our two fur babies, Mozart, our Yorkie, and Neumann, our barn/house kitty.
I spend many delightful—and often tiring—hours working in our orchard,
produce gardens, and flower beds.
Although the workload can seem quite overwhelming, at times, the benefits are many.
Not only do we get to eat that yummy goodness from the garden, but I get to use it
to style pretty pictures to share on my blog.
It’s a good excuse to play with my food. ; )
When I’m not outside in the gardens, I’m busy in the barns and shop working
alongside my hubby—whom I affectionately refer to as The Yankee on my blog—creating a
multitude of diverse things from the junk we’ve collected over the years.
On any given day, we might be constructing a whimsical birdhouse from
old farm implements and rusty tractor parts…
the next, it might be a grouping of found-object art or…
trendy, junk jewelry.
We love to create and have quite a collection of stashes in our
barns and outbuildings with which to do so.
And…
not only do I share our creations—and often the how-tos—on my blog,
but soon I will be selling them in my very own Etsy shop.
Be sure to stay tuned to my blog for the grand opening of my shop AND
the wonderful giveaways to celebrate the event!
Curious about what types of things I might be giving away in the upcoming,
grand opening of my Etsy shop?
What you see above was just a portion of my last giveaway!
It was a celebration of my 100th post for my weekly linky party called Time Travel Thursday.
If you like linky parties, then be sure to stop by and link up any time
between Wednesday and Monday night each week. I would
love to have you join the fun!
So…
if you enjoy reading about wholesome farm life, with a mixture of the rustic and the refined,
and the prissy and the primitive tossed in…
come join me at The Brambleberry Cottage.
I look forward to seeing you there!
And, again, Happy Blogiversary, Angie!!!
Hugs,
Liz
