Knick of Time Tuesday #42 BLOG HOP – Come Co-Host with Me!

Hey everybody!
You got here in the “knick of time” to celebrate my
1 year “Blogiversary” with me and I’m thrilled to see you!
I’m starting the party a day early, because
tomorrow is my official blog “anniversary”
and I have someone very special coming to visit here.

In fact, I’ve got the chairs set out on my blog “porch” for
several special visitors who will drop in to celebrate with us this week.

I’ve got the “gift table” stacked up
with some great prizes that will be given away throughout the week,
so get your party hat on and let’s have some fun!

Before we get started, I want to remind you
that today’s party is a Blog Hop!
And guess what?
Normally this party is a vintage-inspired ONLY
party, but this week we’ll open it up to
ANYTHING you want to share!
Old Stuff, New Stuff…Tasty Stuff, Do Stuff
(I’m feeling Dr. Suessish!)
Heck, you can even link up giveaways
& sales posts today (and today only)!
I hope you start hopping all over Blogland,
meet new friends and gain new followers.

You are welcome to “co-host” this party with me too!
If you’ve ever wanted to see what
it’s like to host your own party – now’s your chance!
Here’s what you need to do:
(You are welcome to copy and paste this section!)
1)  Create a post announcing the Blog Hop!
2)  Add the party graphic (above)
3)  Add this code to the bottom of your post (in html mode):

<script src=”http://www.linkytools.com/thumbnail_linky_include.aspx?id=151494″ type=”text/javascript”></script>

4)  Follow the host of the party – Angie @ Knick of Time & (add your blog name w/link here)
5)  Visit lots of people, follow new blogs & make new friends!
Now, on to some of the fabulous features from last week’s party!
I’m always amazed at some of the creative reuses
other people come up from the most unusual of items,
and there seemed to be a lot of repurposed vintage items shared
at last week’s party, so today I’m featuring some of them.
For instance, what can you do with old kitchen thermometers?
Not much, I would have thought, but
Kathy @ Katalina Jewelry proved me wrong!
She turns them into beautiful and unique necklaces.

is constantly coming up with great re-uses.
This time she turned old salt and pepper shakers into little display stands
and made a USA vignette!  Too cute, right?!!
I’m envying her metal letter stencils.
I’ve never found any of them, much less affordable ones
and she scored 3 complete sets of them recently!
converted a huge, broken, old dresser mirror…
 into a gorgeous chalkboard!
Laurel @ Chipping with Charm
turned some standard canning jars into…..

SOLAR LIGHTS!  She got the idea from
Kelly @ Eclectically Vintage, so be sure to visit them both!

There will be lots of features next week,
so let’s see what you’ve got to share with us!

Come back later today for the first party “favor” being given away!
It’s a $25 gift certificate from Leslie Janson!
