Can I just go ahead and declare this, “Grain Sack Month“? That way, I don’t need to keep apologizing for bombarding you with grain sack-related projects. I just can’t seem to help myself.
Okay, now that I’ve warned you, I picked up this little foot stool at a thrift store a few weeks ago. Clearly, it was way overdue for a makeover, but it was very sturdy and I since I have a LOT of the grain sack fabric (and ordered more), I’m on the lookout for things to use it on.
I removed the outer fabric, and left the layers of foam and batting underneath. I stenciled the same No. typography images (shown here) that I used on the grain sack wall pockets and grain sack chair onto the fabric and recovered the stool.
I trimmed off the edge with black twill tape and upholstery tacks. It’s now available in my shop here (SOLD).
I promise, I really do have other projects I’m working, on that aren’t grain sack related, but they are in the finishing stages and still need to be photographed. I’ve just really been enjoying finding uses for this pretty fabric, so expect to see more projects made with it – probably this week!
Blessings,

If everything keeps turning out as good as this, keep bombarding!
So cute! And I agree with Bliss. And I pinned it 🙂
