It’s only Monday, and I’m already exhausted, but my guest room remodel is done, and I photographed it today. I still need to go through and edit the photos, and I’ll be sharing the room soon. I actually slept in it last night. I felt it was my duty to make sure my mom would be comfortable in there during her visit…or at least that’s the reason I gave my husband. He asked if I plan to move in there. I resisted the urge to tell him I am seriously tempted to. I don’t get smitten easily, but I am smitten with this room.

I love that you are making over a room for your mum. This weekend my mum stayed with us after her eye surgery, andI prior to her visit, I not only worried about the surgery (I couldn’t sleep), but, as silly as it may sound, I worried even more about her stay at our home, after the surgery! I wanted her to be comfortable, but I also wanted her to feel at home,as well! Someday, I hope we can convince her to stay with us for good! I can’t wait to see the final results of your room.
