If you’ve visited my blog for very long, you may have noticed that other than Christmas, I don’t do a lot of seasonal decorating. I don’t switch out my pillows for different seasons, and I don’t change my mantel for every holiday. I do love to change things up in my house, but it is’n’t usually seasonally oriented. I prefer to decorate with things that can be displayed year-round and don’t need to be stored away after a season ends.
I’m thrilled that Decor Steals asked me to participate in the Design Ingenuity event, and that I get to partner with my blogging buddy Robin from All Things Heart and Home!
These pretty boxwood wreaths are perfect for me, because they work for any season and if you like to change up your decor each season, you can easily do that by changing out the ribbon, or by adding other elements to it, or just displaying them in a new way.
The set of 3 wreaths are today’s “steal“. If you aren’t familiar with Decor Steals, each day they offer one daily steal, and when it’s gone…it’s gone, so you have to act fast!
One of the things I love about shopping with Decor Steals shipping is always $5 per item – which is also a steal! You never see shipping that low these days.
Of course, you can hang these pretty wreaths on your doors, but wreaths aren’t just for doors anymore, so I hung my set on some of my old pretty platters in my kitchen instead. They add a fresh look of green plants, but don’t require the care that a living plant does, which is perfect for me since I don’t have a green thumb.
I’m a regular Decor Steals customer. You may remember my favorite grain style sack fabric I bought and used to create wall pockets on barn wood and the typography chair. I receive a daily email from Decor Steals, so I never miss the daily “steal”.
Let me know how you would use these wreaths in your home.
Be sure to also visit Robin @ All Things Heart and Home to see how she’s decorating with these wreaths in her home!
Perfect way to use the wreaths. They’re beautiful.
Angie I love the way your styled your wreaths! You’ve given me a new idea! ox
You styled your wreaths beautifully!!! I can think of several different areas in my home to use them but my first try would be in my kitchen/dining area by the door.
Love the round wreath in the oval platters — the imperfect align is perfect! And the three hung by long ribbons.
And the line-up on the door — so much better than a perfect Rockette Chorus Line!
I now realize that I don’t have any sort of decorating talent in this body!!! I would never have come up with how you styled those wreaths so perfectly in your home – and – not only one idea – but three!!!! Oh I need help from Martha!!!!
I love how you displayed the wreaths on platters, Angie! Fun giveaway! I love Decor Steals and would love to win these!
I love the wreaths hanging on the platters. Now I’m going over to sign up. 🙂
I love the wreaths. I would change them out all the time by adding hanging tiny ornaments and or ribbons and bows. Thanks for the chance to win!
Cute idea! They really pop on the white. I love reading your blog and I look forward to the scripture you tuck at the bottom.
I have been wanting to get a boxwood wreath for a long time now. I love these. Thanks for the chance to win.
I would hang them on my mullioned glass doors of my pantry filled with enamelware!
I love the way you hung them on the platters. So pretty.
Those are really beautiful wreaths! I would’ve never thought to have hung them from pretty platters, but I love that idea…it’s so unique that I think it will immediately draw eyes to it! I knew it drew mine! 🙂
I love the look of the wreaths on the ironstone platters. That would be a great look in my new dining room; I need some wall decor. I could get the platters from decor steals and win the wreaths!
Love these, I need some!
Debbie
Love these Design Ingenuity events — so much fun to see what everyone does! Just ordered a set of these today — love, love, love boxwood! You did a fantastic job styling — love the boxwood with the ironstone — a classic combo! 🙂
I would put them on mirrors i have in different rooms in my home. Thanks Angie.
I signed up with Decor Steals awhile back. They have wonderful and reasonably priced items!
Love what you’ve done with your wreaths 🙂
Love the wreaths paired with the white platters. I always enjoy seeing your inspiring project ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Cheryl
I love… the way you styled your wreaths. I would use the wreaths in my family room that I am currently changing up for the spring summer seasons. After reading your post they may stay up throughout the year. Thanks for your inspiration. I am new to your blog and have enjoyed it thus far.
Just love what you did with your wreaths! I think I would put one on the round mirror I have in my entry. The small one would look nice hanging from one of my many hooks and the large on the front door. I hope I win!
I love these! So many ways to display them but I think I would hang them in a window. I love how you displayed them on the plates!
i would never have thought of displaying the wreaths on the platters like you did, but I’d be tempted to steal that idea because they look so fresh and set off the platters. The other idea would be to hang them above my chalkboard or from the knobs on my hutch. Thanks for sharing your ideas and for the chance to win.
