In addition to working on several new stencil designs, I’ve also been designing some inexpensive “add-ons”. Add-ons are smaller stencils that will coordinate with the larger stencils in my line, but can be used by themselves also.
The first set of add-on designs are a 2-pack of old milk bottle shape stencils that coordinate with the Milk and Cream Co. design.
The first one is an outline of an old milk bottle.
Here’s how it looks paired with the Milk and Cream Co. stencil.
The second one is a solid milk bottle stencil.
I used it to make a cute shaped chalkboard.
This set of milk bottle add-ons is available in my online shop HERE.
Speaking of milk bottles, several weeks ago, I showed you a DIY “milk” bottle project (seen HERE). Well, I listed it in my shop and it sold, and the person who purchased it wanted to buy several more of them. I didn’t have time to make more myself, but my teenage son wanted to earn some money, so I taught him how to make them.
He did a great job, and I think he actually enjoyed doing it! He has 1 of the “Egg Saver” bottles still available in my shop HERE.
I asked him if he wanted to make more, and I was surprised he did, but I think he discovered how rewarding it is to know that someone wants to buy something HE made. This time, I gave him a few jars from my stash. One was a jelly jar, and I think the other was a spaghetti sauce jar. Aren’t they cute?!
I’m keeping one of them, but he has the one on the right available HERE.
You’ll find all the Vintage Sign and Inspirational Stencil Designs HERE.
On another note, a few days ago, I dropped my camera and broke it, so I had to purchase a new one. I bought the same Canon EOS camera as I had before, just a newer model. The new camera came with 2 lenses, so I no longer need the Tamrom 18-200mm lens I used with my old camera. It was used very lightly, and is in very good condition. I have it listed on Amazon HERE.
Your stencil is amazing, but oh those bottles! Love them. And so great that your son made some. My 9 year old is always wanting to make stuff for my Etsy. =)
Jeanine
Jeanine, you should show your son how to make the bottles – they are easy and turn out so cute!
Love the new stencils and your son did an excellent job!!
I thought I spied these milk bottle stencils in your post from the other day, but thought I was maybe seeing things…hehe! I’m glad my vision is okay…and, of course, I’m going to have to order these to go with my Milk and Cream Co. stencil…I already have two projects in mind for them! You must be sooooo very proud of your son taking the initiative to make these bottles…and also the son who helped you with the barn quilt…proving the apples don’t fall far from the tree! Your son has done a fantastic job of the bottles, too…they look absolutely wonderful…I hope he has much success with them!
