I’ve got a new batch of dairy milk cap images for you today!
Those of you who have visited my blog for awhile know I love old dairy milk bottle caps. I just can’t resist them, and I’ve brought home quite a few new ones in the last few weeks that I thought you would like.
Tomorrow I’ll be sharing a project idea that I made with one of these images, so be sure to save them to your computer now! 🙂
I didn’t remove the backgrounds from all of these images, so you will notice “shadows” around the edges of them.
This “pure fresh milk” one is my favorite. I love the bold blue text and the red pull tab.
I also love the red, simple text on this cap.
Here’s a buttermilk cap that’s cute.
This one makes me laugh that it says, “sanitary”. I know the health standards weren’t as high back then as they are today, but I guess I would have just assumed any bottled milk I was buying was sanitary, but I guess they just wanted to make sure their customers knew it.
You can find all many more dairy milk cap images I’ve shared in the past HERE.
Come back tomorrow to see my farm fresh project with one of these images!
These are wonderful, Angie. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing!! I grew up in a tiny rural town, Kirkwood, NJ. It had a wonderful dairy farm that sadly went out of business when I was a teenager. My dear friend married a relative of that dairy family owning Clark’s Dairy. My friend recently gave me several new old stock leftover milk caps to use on my “Clark’s Dairy” milk bottles, and was I thrilled! To have the real thing is such a thrill to me, and I’ll cherish both the bottles and caps forever! It was/is such a part of my childhood memories!
Mercy me I haven’t seen these since I was little girl & that was 66 yrs’ ago..lol do you remember dixie cup’s with baseball players on the inside of lid cup’ lick ice cream & their picture came up…ha,ha, you probably don’t remember your folk’s may..lol
I love the vibrant colours on all of these milk caps…it’s funny the amount of work they must’ve went through to make these, even though I’m pretty sure they never imagined people would one day collect and covet them! My favourite is the Monohon’s cap which claims their milk is sanitary…something about the green and red together really catches my eye! Thank you soooooo very much for sharing these little pieces of history and whimsy with us…I’m soooooo glad that you choose to do this!
Thanks, Angie! These are so cute, and I love adding a circular element to cards and layouts. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks Kathy – I’m brainstorming some other ways to use the milk cap images now!
you know I share your weakness for these – love ’em! Thanks so much for the graphics.
You’ve made the cutest projects with bottle cap images, David – I’m wracking my brains to think of more ideas!
