It’s been a while since I’ve done a Farmhouse Friday post, but I think autumn is an easy time to decorate with farmhouse style, because of the abundance of natural elements like pumpkins, foliage and pine cones that are so easy to find, and they all have that cozy look a farmhouse should have.
I’ve rounded up some wonderful and fairly easy Autumn decor ideas that won’t break the bank that I think you’ll love.
Let’s get started!
One of my favorite and most simple projects was this Repurposed Overalls Wall Pocket.
Turn small wood slices into an Autumn Wreath to welcome visitors.
This Autumn Sign does double duty as a coat rack.

Here’s another Give Thanks variation, paired with candles and pinecones as a mantel display – via Hobby Lobby.

Some really great fall inspiration….and thanks for including my porch.
My pleasure,Cathy!
Fall is such a great time to do colorful decorating. But for me also sad, hate to see the end of summer, maybe that’s why fall colors are so cheery.
Beautiful pictures, thanks for some great ideas!
Sooooooooo glad to see Farmhouse Friday back! 🙂 And what great subject matter, too! The earthy colours of fall are some of my very favourite colours…these are the colours I choose when decorating or buying clothing all year round! What can I possibly say about all of these truly stunning fall vignettes? They are all just jaw-droppingly gorgeous and soooooo inspiring! I think it’s time for me to get out and pick up some mums…ghords, pumpkins, hay bales, and corn stalks are surely soon to follow…and now I have the inspriation to use them in different ways…thank you!
Thanks Susan! I’m not sure if I’ll do Farmhouse Friday every week, as it takes me such a long time to select features for them, but I hope to do it more frequently than I have lately! 🙂
I can only speak for me, of course, but I’d be happy seeing Farmhouse Friday whenever you are up for it! I believe that your blog should not only be a source of joy for your readers, it should also be a source of joy for YOU! So, taking that into consideration, you shouldn’t stress yourself too much over it…I think anyone reading the series can see that it takes a lot of time, effort, and planning for each FF post and no one would fault you for skipping a few weeks when you need to. You are one of those rare bloggers who puts fresh, new content out pretty much everyday…I can’t even imagine the time, effort, and creativity that goes into all of that! Please give yourself a break, girl…you work HARD and your readers know it…we’re just happy to be getting a new email each and every day from you! 🙂
You never fail to make my day, Susan! 🙂
Help please. Where can I get a subscription to American Farmhouse? I looked online and can only find single copies. Love your site, you have given me so many ideas and expanded my repurpose look!
Robin, I believe it is a special issue publication that comes out either quarterly or seasonally. The current issue is a fall/winter issue.
Angie
I love the upcycled overalls. They’re so cute.
