Farmhouse Pallet Wood Sign
This is a project I made a few months ago but forgot to publish.
Nothing much to update on my health. I’m continuing with my therapy each week and am making good progress.
How to Make a Farmhouse Pallet Wood Sign
Supplies Needed (affiliate links included):
Pallet wood boards
Stencil or freehand paint your design
The steps are exactly the same as my DIY Pallet Wood Bath Tub Table, with whatever dimensions you’d like your sign to be.
I wanted a fairly large one for my kitchen, so mine is about 24″ x 36″.
STEPS:
- Measure your pallet boards, cut them, and connect them together.
- Paint or stain the front and sides. I stained mine.
- Freehand paint words, or use a stencil.
- Seal with wax or other sealer.
- Add hangers to the back and it’s done!
I used 1″ screws to connect the backing pallet boards to the front pallet boards.
Use a chip brush and throw it away when done. Wood stain is impossible to rinse out. I buy really inexpensive bulk packs of them, so I always have them on hand.
I’ve made so many projects from pallet wood that I’ve lost count, but here are just a few. Just click on the images below to see each project.
Vaya con Dios,
It’s good to hear that the therapy helps, Angie. I hope the progress will continue. Wow, you’ve done really a lot of pallet wood projects and they’re all fabulous. The sign turned out great as well.
Wishing you all the best for your recovery.
