Front Yard Junk Garden Update

Front Yard Junk Garden Update

This is just a quick post to share what my front yard Junk Garden looks like this year.  I’ve had so much fun working on this Junk Garden as well as the one by my guest house.  I’ll be sharing the full reveal of My Secret Garden Patio probably later this week.  You can check out my plans for it here.

I planted two types of calibrachoa in the pail this year under my Antique Farmhouse Water Pump.

You can see what it looked like last year HERE.

Only one of the blue larkspur I planted last year survived.  It hasn’t started blooming yet, but the bicolor dianthus is blooming and doing very well.

This year, I planted wave petunias in my House Numbers Sign Hanging Planter.

Two years ago I planted mums in it, and last year I planted geraniums.

You can see what it looked like last year HERE, and you can see how I made it HERE.

I planted them several weeks ago and they’re doing great!  The key is watering them with Super Bloom (affiliate link).  I bought a container of it last year and have been so impressed with the blooms I get on my plants.  I pinch off the dead blooms and water it with Super Bloom, and the flowers look gorgeous.
