Halloween Treat Bags DIY Creator Bundle
Today I’m beginning a new series that will either be a really bad decision or a great one. So, we’ll just see!
I’m calling it 15 Days of Chalking.
My motivation for the series was that with every Chalk Couture project I make, I learn something. So doing it more consistently should help make me a much better chalker.
Whether or not you like chalking, I hope you’ll enjoy the projects and learn something with me.
I want you to have fun too, so there will also be giveaways and free samples during this series!
I won’t post any projects in this series on Tuesday, Saturday, or Sunday.
Let’s get started!
For the first project, I whipped up these adorable little Halloween treat bags in about 10 minutes.
If you’ve never tried a Chalk Couture project, this one is great for beginners.
Later you can try one that’s a little more advanced.
In other words, just have fun with it!
The bags resemble burlap but don’t shed like burlap.
The plus about making anything on fabric using Chalk Couture transfers is you don’t need to “fuzz” them on a towel first.
They will pick up a little bit of fuzz from the fabric.
If using them on glass, wood, or plastic, they will need to be fuzzed.
As always, make sure the transfer is pressed down and doesn’t have any bubbles in the silk screen area.
There are four little transfers in the Halloween Fun set – bats, a jack o’ lantern, a ghost, and a spider.
I’ve put together a Creator Bundle (instructions for ordering are included later in this post) for you that includes the four small transfers with Pumpkin Pie Chalkology paste, one of the new multi-purpose tools, and eight little drawstring bags (only four are shown in the photo below).
That multi-purpose tool is amazing for chalking in small areas. It also works to stir the paste, and the “hook” end is to clean around the edge of the jar where paste typically gunks up.
If more than eight bags are desired, additional bags may be purchased in a set of 25 for a very low price HERE.
If you would like to buy other colors of chalk paste, they are available in my Chalk Shop HERE.
Tip – You can create a project with the whole transfer before cutting it apart too! All four will fit on the Board & Base as well as the Box Frame.
Because Halloween is the #2 holiday most decorated for (#1 is Christmas), there are 13 more Halloween transfers available to create with! Five of them are under $10.
I won’t list them all, but here are just a few:
If you would like for me to put together a discounted Creator Bundle for one of the projects below, just let me know. I’d be happy to!

Vaya con Dios,
These are so cute! My daughters will love to help make these halloween treat bags which is a bonus for me!
You and your kids will have so much fun making them Christine!
Angie, what would be the price of a kit to do the pumpkin shown on the T-shirt above? I would buy my own T-shirts so I would just need the chalk paint and the stencil. I’d like to make them for my four grandsons.
I emailed you Naomi!
Very cute and fun twist on Halloween treat bags. Visiting from Funtastic Friday.
