I didn’t find very much at the thrift stores this week. I don’t know if it was just because there wasn’t much to find or if I was being more selective. I’m much more careful about bringing home things that I’m not sure if I’ll be able to use.
I did find a few things though.
My most exciting find was a vintage Samsonite suitcase. I’ve bought and sold many of these over the years, but this one I plan to keep. I have plans for it!
I also found an awesome vintage enamelware stock pot. It’s a much smaller size than I’ve ever seen. I have a large one just like it, so I was excited to find a smaller one. It’s so cute.
I also found a vintage Revere Ware sauce pot. My mom had some when I was a child just like it. It’s not for me, it’s for my son who just got his first apartment.
In the frames department, there wasn’t much. But I did find a shadow box frame. I think I know what I’m going to do with it.
My final find was a cute little metal tiered stand with a handle. The tag said it’s from Ikea, but I couldn’t find it on the website. It came with a bunch of clothes pins in it, but I’ll probably use it as an organizer for my desk for small items.
Some weeks are better than others at thrift stores, aren’t they?
What have you found lately? Anything you love?
Happy Thrifting!
Angie
love your thrift store finds! especially the three tiered organizer!
It’s cute, isn’t it Michelle? I snatched it up quick!
Lots of great finds, Angie! The Revere Ware pot will be nice for your son and I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with that suitcase!
He doesn’t do much cooking, but he does like to make soup so I know he’ll use it Linda.
I love those three tier storage totes they save so much room. Now about that suitcase, i am so curious about what you will do!!!
I can’t wait to give it a makeover Marlene!
I still use my “vintage” Revere Ware that I bought new. Hard to think of them as vintage. How time flies
Ain’t that the truth!
I have a large suitcase exactly like this one ! Only needs the bottom liner Reggie’s ! Was going to get rid of it ! Now I’m curious to see what you can with it !
