I go to auctions to buy things for my shop, but I buy things I like, so in the event they don’t sell, I’m have something I would enjoy having in my home, and I enjoy spindles!
It still had the bolts that would have connected it to the side rails, and I love them, so my husband cut the back of the bolts off, so the front parts could remain in place.
If your a sucker for spindles too, it’s available in my shop here.

I used my “It is Well with my Soul” photograph, and transferred it to the wood, as shown here. Even though doing transfers is a little messy, I really enjoy the process am thrilled each time I wipe the paper off, and see the images start to show through. Lightly sanding and waxing it afterward, just gives it the perfect aged finish.
I’ve listed it in my shop here. This is something I can actually think of a place for in my home, so I’m okay with keeping it if it doesn’t sell.
I completed another barn wood wall bin, as well.
Available here.
I have 3 antique cameras, and decided since I’m not a full-blown collector, I would just keep one as a photo prop, and sell the other two, so I listed this Falcon camera here.
I have lots of books I use as photo props, so I decided to sell one set I’ve used in a lot of photos in the past. This is a school set, with 3 antique school books and one religious book. It’s listed here.
I also listed this wonderful antique meat chopper.

Angie … you make such interesting things for your shop … no wonder they sell so fast.
Blessings,

You find such great things and you make them even greater!

I LOVE the wall cubby, Angie! Love, love, love!
Hi Angie, I love what you did with the wall cubby – great idea to add a mirror. Great way to repurpose a headboard too – lov’n it. Oh how I love an auction too. We purchased hardwood flooring for the entire main floor of our house at an auction for a fraction of the price. I get so caught up in the energy of the room that I too have put up my bidding finger a few times when I knew I was bidding more than I normally would.

I’m in love with the wall cubby! The rack too, but really the cubby. The transformation is incredible.
Have a great weekend with your boys.

Angie do you mind sharing where you get your hooks? You do so many great things with them. I’m in Canada and find big hooks SO expensive, I’m wondering if you have a cheaper source. Thanks.
So many wonderful projects to look at! You are very creative. My favorite is the soft and timeworn shelf with the transfer…SO PRETTY!
