Welcome Everyone! I am totally psyched about today’s party! Not only do we have 27 bloggers sharing their best DIY projects with you, but YOU get the opportunity to share your best DIY projects as well, and your links will show up on all 27 blogs! Woo Hoo!!!
I’ll be pinning some of my favorite links on our Best of DIY board on Pinterest as well, to bring you even more traffic, and will be sharing links through the weekend, and next week on Facebook, so be sure you are following the pin board, and my Facebook page!
If you’re a new visitor here, Welcome! I’m Angie, the gal behind Knick of Time! My passion is all things vintage and repurposed, and I adore antique graphics as well, which I share each week.
You can also find me on Facebook, Pinterest, Hometalk, G+ and Twitter.
Don’t forget to enter the Cutting Edge Stencils Giveaway I have going on now as well!
To celebrate the party today, I created a quick and easy Rustic Recipe Holder, that is both useful and looks awesome, especially if you love to cook or bake, and love rustic, farmhouse-style decor! I’ll share more about it at the end of this post!
To get the party started, let’s meet our Best of DIY team!

You can find many of our DIY projects, using the hashtag #BestofDIY on Facebook, G+, and Twitter!
Now, let’s see YOUR Best DIY Projects!
I used a piece of wood that was leftover from another project, and gave it a quick coat of paint. Once it was dry, I just distressed it with my palm sander, and put some dark walnut colored wood stain over it, to accent the distressed areas, and added a wire hanger on the back.
I added a little bulldog clip to hold recipe cards, and 2 metal corners, from Hobby Lobby to give it a more finished look. I also added a little cup hook at the bottom to hold measuring spoons.
It is a perfect fit for the rustic, farmhouse style in my kitchen, and took all of about 20 minutes to make. Now my recipe cards won’t get splatted while I’m cooking, yet they are easy to see.
If you like the recipe cards, they are available as a free printable here.
Blessings,
Love it!!

Hugs,
