Here’s a really lovely image of the well-known hymn, “Sweet Hour of Prayer” from a very old hymnal. The font used for the titles of the song is so pretty!

Angie, I just love these antique hymn pages you post! They really take me back to my childhood – of singing them in my grandparent’s little country church, to hearing my mom play them on the organ in our own church, to growing up and playing them on the piano in church as my mom played the organ. I love the worship songs we sing today, but the old hymns hold a special place in my heart. I have several old hymnals that once belonged to my mom and love the beautiful lettering too. Thanks for sharing!
