Paper towels…
I have oodles of them.
If there’s ever a zombie apocalypse and there’s a raid on grocery stores, my family may not have a stockpile of food to fall back on, but we have plenty of paper towels.
My husband found an amazing deal, and bought several cases of them.
We now have them stacked in our bedroom, and taking up space in our bathroom storage closet.
Looking at all of them made me want to work on more farmhouse totes with built-in paper towel holders.
The first style I designed had sides shaped like bread boards. Every one my husband and I made sold quickly in my Etsy shop, so when I suggested to him that we make more, I thought he’d be happy to.
…Not.
He said he was tired of cutting the bread board shapes, but was willing to come up with a modified design.
He’s always very willing to help me with my projects, so I didn’t argue with him.
I didn’t want to cut out the bread board shapes either! 🙂
So, our new design has tapered sides, and I love it too.
One side has “fresh baked pie” graphics on it, and the other side has “flour milling co. graphics.
Of course, it could be used in the bathroom to hold two rolls of toilet paper, instead of paper towels, but I already have a toilet paper holder I love!
Our new totes are available in my online shop HERE.
So, when everyone else runs out of paper towels during the zombie apocalypse, I’m hoping to barter some of mine for food! 🙂
And speaking of survival … my youngest child got his driver’s permit.
I survived the other three kids, so wish me luck that I can get through the last one without doubling my gray hairs!
Vaya con Dios,
Here’s something I think you’ll love! (affiliate link)
It looks great, Angie! I’m sure this design will sell well too.
Thanks so much, Julia!
Really cute Angie.
Thanks Terry!
