It’s cold and windy outside today, so I holed up in the house all day packing up stencil orders.
When I was sick of looking at packing tape and cardboard boxes, I treated myself to some web surfing and movie watching time.
Working on the computer for much of the day doesn’t allow me much time to just play around, so it was a welcome break.

Here are five things I came across that made me laugh, cry, and want to do even more DIY …
This one made me laugh until I cried. The crazy thing is, I did exactly the same thing, but it wasn’t nearly as funny when I did it!
Doesn’t everyone need a mom cave like this one? The neutral colors look so relaxing, and that chunky knit blanket … beautiful!
I watched this movie (affiliate). I love historically based movies, and this one was really good. It is rated “R” for war-related images and brief language, but it was very interesting, although sad.
This makeover made me want to hit the thrift stores to look for the perfect tote to give a DIY makeover. She used one of my stencils, and it’s amazing what a difference some paint made.
Here is an adorable farmhouse pillow made using another one of my stencils. I’m getting ready to make some farmhouse pillows, so this one made me realize my break is over and I need to go make those pillows now! I’ll share them with you once they’re done.
I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!

Fun post, Angie! I thought KariAnne’s post was pretty funny, too! Love your last photo!
Thanks so much for sharing my project !
Great post, Angie! On the last photo – you have a black and white photo of a barn on the wall – where did you find that? I want one
Love following you
Kathy – that photo is a barn that was on my gravel road. It was torn down last year, so I’m so glad I took the photo of it. It was a beauty! I’ve made it available as a free printable here – https://knickoftime.net/2014/08/old-barn-photograph.html
