In this post: a pallet wood Christmas sign that is easy to make.
After our Thanksgiving meal, I convinced my husband to get the tree down from the attic so we could start Christmas decorating. And in the midst of pulling out the bajillions of tangled strands of twinkle lights, I decided to get crafty … again.
Remember the first bathtub table I made out of pallet wood? Well, after I made my new table, I kept the old one because I knew eventually I’d find something to make with it. And I did!
Pallet Wood Christmas Noel Sign (affiliate links included):
- Pallet Sign
- Wood Stain
- Chipboard Letters
- Spray Paint
- Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
- Faux Evergreen Wreath (My wreath and bow are no longer available, but this one would work well.)
- Buffalo Plaid Bow
Directions:
Assemble the pallet sign following these directions. If you don’t want to build the pallet sign, they can be found at a very affordable price here.
Stain the sign and let dry. Mine was already stained, so I skipped this step.
Lay out the chipboard letters on something. I always save cardboard. It’s easy to carry and can be reused a few times before throwing it away.
Spray paint the letters and let them dry a few hours.
Space the letters on the sign, allowing room for the wreath, and adhere them with a hot glue gun.
Attach the wreath. Mine had twine, so I put a tiny nail on top to hang it so it can be removed.
Ta da! It’s finished!
It really is a simple sign to make and can be any size you want it to be.
So, what do you think? Would you make one like this?
I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
