In this post: DIY Farmhouse Signs
It’s been a few years since I’ve written “On the workbench” post. Since Christmas is long over, I needed to restock my Etsy shop.
I also plan to start offering Chalk Couture local workshops, so I needed to make some sample projects.
There are three that I just completed, but I’ll be making more once I receive the new transfers I’m ordering from the Spring Catalog.
First up is a “have courage and be kind” sign on a small box frame.
I had already made one with green lettering that I gifted to my daughter-in-law. I fell in love with it and wanted to make another in a spring color.
Wouldn’t it look sweet paired with a bird nest filled with eggs?
Box frames are inexpensive and the best thing is you can make signs on the front and back.
Next is my favorite sign of all. I didn’t put anything on the front because I wanted to put my favorite design on the back.
Can you guess what it is?
If you guessed the vintage truck, you’re right!
It’s on a 9″x 12″ Box Frame and can hang on a wall or stand in a vignette.
You can make your own using supplies from my Chalk Site and you can make another sign on the white front.
This sign is available in my shop HERE.
The last sign didn’t start out as a sign. I used a wood tray with rope handles.
The bottom made a great surface to chalk on.
I chose the Grandchildren transfer to put on it.
I left the handles on so it can still be used as a tray, but the buyer can cut them off if desired. A clip was added to make it a photo display.
It’s available in my Etsy shop HERE.
Totally excited to start on more projects!
