Joanna Gaines Style Farmhouse Rustic Wood Farmhouse Hanging Milk Bottle Flower Vase
Who doesn’t love Joanna Gaines style? I think she would hang this rustic wood milk bottle flower vase in a heartbeat!
It’s such an easy project and you can put real blooms from your garden or faux flowers to enjoy it year-round.
Supplies you need to make a Rustic Wood Farmhouse Hanging Milk Bottle Flower Vase:
(This post contains affiliate links for the products I used. There is no extra cost to you, but they help support this blog.)
- Dixie Belle staggered pallet board
- Wood stain
- E6000 adhesive
Foam brush (I buy them in bulk and pay only $0.28 each.)
Easy step-by-step instructions:
Start with a staggered wood pallet board. I got mine from Dixie Belle, but you may be able to find them in your local craft store.
Stain the pallet board with a foam brush and allow it to dry. I used Early American by Minwax, but you could use any color stain.
Position the bottles on the board and glue them down with E6000. Let them dry for several hours.
Make sure the bottles are level with each other by putting something firm under them and sliding them to the same height. (I used a wooden tray, but you could use a ruler.)
That’s all there is to it!
Once the bottles have dried, put real or faux flowers in them and hang it up.
I love super simple projects that turn out so pretty. Don’t you?

Totally changing the subject, but I’ve been trying for several weeks to capture a photo of one of the several cardinals at our house and I finally got it! I’m so happy the birds love coming to my feeders.

Vaya con Dios,
Do you think that using a regular paintbrush for the stain and not the foam brush would make a difference when it comes to final effect?
No, that’s fine. The foam are just cheaper and disposable.
