Farmhouse Clay Pots From Dollar Tree
Today I’m sharing a quick and easy idea for DIY Farmhouse Clay Pots.
There is so much you can do with simple clay pots, big or small.
They are perfect for vignettes, shelf sitting, or anywhere you need a little inexpensive decor.
I love walking into the Dollar Tree. There are the things they always have, but also seasonal items, like clay pots.
Supplies Needed for Farmhouse Clay Pots:
- 3 terra cotta clay pots
- White spray paint
- Hello Spring transfer
- Chalkology Paste
- Squeegee
- Clear Spray Sealer
- Faux greenery or succulents
Directions:
- Spray paint each pot white with two light coats.
- Cut apart the Hello Spring transfers and “fuzz” on a cloth.
- Place them on the pots, making sure the silkscreen area is totally pressed down.
- Apply chalk paste with squeegee.
- Once dry, spray with clear spray sealer.
- Put plants or faux greenery inside each pot.
DONE!
Larger boxes make great spray “tents” that contain over-spray.
The Hello Spring transfers come on one sheet with 12 mini transfers.
Three have an Easter theme and three have a spring theme.
The rest can be used for either spring or summer.
For my clay pots, I chose the wreath, bird, and flowers.
I chose Midnight Sky chalk paste for the bird, Garden Herb for the wreath, and Peony for the flowers. I love the way each color pops against the white pot.
Since I won’t be home for Easter, I’m gifting these to my daughter.
She loves succulents, so I put one in each pot.
Adorable and so easy!
