This advertisement for the Metropolitan Livery, which provided carriage rides for funerals, weddings and party came from an early 1900 hymnal. In the fall, I brought home oodles and oodles of antique wooden folding chairs from an auction. I sold nearly all of them, but I had some left that either had damaged seats, or damaged frames. To celebrate the first day of spring, today I’m sharing some beautiful book plate images of birds from a 1920’s book called, “Birds of the British Isles”. Enjoy!!
