Talk of the Town #119

My husband keeps getting sent out of town for work, so I’ve been plugging away on projects for the bathroom remodel.  I’m bummed that some of the bigger projects are getting delayed longer than I would like, but what can you do?  No point in whining about it!  Let’s move on to something more inspiring …

Farmhouse Mason Jar Bathroom Set: Week 2 Bathroom Remodel

Mason Jar Bathroom Set Today’s project isn’t anything new.  There are tons of mason jar bathroom sets on Pinterest, but I needed a new set and worked on it while my husband was out of town last week .  So I thought I’d show how I made a toothbrush holder, a cotton swab container, and a soap dispenser, along with a few tips that I think are important. What I used: (Affiliate links provided for your convenience) Pint Mason jars {Read More}

Talk of the Town #118

My husband was sent out of town for work this week, so the bigger projects in the farmhouse bathroom have to wait until he gets back.  But I’m in love with how the wood planked walls turned out and am trying to decide what decor I want to hang.  I’m working on a few smaller bathroom projects in the meantime, though.  I’ll be sharing them with you soon, but right now it’s time to check out the wonderful features from {Read More}

How to Install Farmhouse Bathroom Wood Plank Walls

Farmhouse Bathroom Wood Plank Walls & Ceiling Tips, tricks, and a supplies list to install wood plank walls the easy way! The first project we worked on in the master bathroom remodel was planking the walls. Because the bathroom is near the living room and kitchen, I wanted to have a cohesive look.  So we decided to use the same wood planking that we have in the other two rooms (seen here and here). I’ll show how we did it! {Read More}

I know it’s only the beginning of April, but spring fever has struck and I wanted to get a head start on some garden projects. I trudged out to my workshop to see if I could find anything to work on.  Of course, there was nothing that was easy to put my hands on.  But from across the room I {Read More}

Talk of the Town #117

My husband worked like crazy on the farmhouse master bath remodel all weekend, but he got sent out of town for a few days for work.  I hope to show you the first project we completed later this week.    Right now it’s time to party!

Farmhouse Master Bathroom Style Board & Plans

No other room in my house has been remodeled and tweaked as many times as my farmhouse master bathroom. I had no intention of doing it again, but the floor became damaged when the toilet leaked, a coat hook on the back of the door poked a hole in the wall behind it, and we never replaced a bathtub or toilet the first time because it wasn’t in the budget.
