Happy Tuesday! My daughter got a new German Shepherd puppy a few days ago and I’m puppy sitting him a few nights a week while she’s at work. It’s a lot like having a toddler in the house again. We have to make sure there’s nothing he can chew up, because he’ll chew on anything. Thankfully, he plays for awhile and wears himself out, then he curls up and sleeps. He’s fun, but exhausting! Now, on to the party. Welcome {Read More}
February Giveaway – 3 Magazine Subscriptions
What’s the weather like where you’re at? Do you live where they’ve been having spring-like temps, or someplace where winter is dragging on like a boring movie? We are getting another blast of cold and some snow, which is a bummer because it’s the end of my mom’s visit. But as long as the sun is shining, I can stand it. It occurred to me that it’s been quite a while since I’ve had a giveaway, so I’m giving away {Read More}

I’ve enjoyed having my sister here for the last week and a half, she’ll be returning home in a few days. She’s been a huge help to me typing the post, helping with house cleaning, and cooking meals for the freezer so it’s easier for us to just grab a meal already prepared. Since I can’t make any new projects right now, I enjoy looking at the projects shared at the party. Welcome back to Talk of the Town! First, {Read More}
Thrifted Cabinet into Farmhouse Style Bookcase
Thrifted Cabinet into Farmhouse Style Bookcase I’m the queen of slamming on my brakes and making random U-turns. Unless I’m on my way to a wedding or a funeral, if I spot a yard sale or antique store, you better be prepared to make some stops along the way if you’re riding with me. This is one of those random U-turn projects. 🙂

I’m sooo glad my husband finished up the last small project on our back porch remodel. I shot the photos today and will be sharing it tomorrow evening. Even though I had to twist his arm a bit to talk him into the project, I’ve already caught him sitting out there several times. So I know he’s glad we did it. I use the word “we” pretty liberally, because it was at least 95% his work. We actually still need to {Read More}
