Romantic Homes Feature + More Sale Items
Today was one of those amazing mail days that don’t happen often, but the latest issue of Romantic Homes was in my mailbox, and I’ve got a feature in it! I wanted to hug the mailman, but that might have been a tad awkward, so I just acted cool and casual until he drove away. Then I danced all around my driveway. 🙂
Pallet Project for Small Space Storage + Sale!!
I wasn’t really in the mood to do any organizing, but there’s a rebellion going on in the barn door cabinet in my entryway, and I was in the middle of it. I use the cabinet to hold paint supplies, but the cabinet could only hold so many containers, and I had crossed that line.
When There’s Trouble in the Chicken Coop
A few days ago, I was working in my she – shed, and I heard a loud squawking coming from the chicken coop. If you aren’t a chicken owner, let me give you a crash course in Chickenese. Of course, roosters crow, and they’ll do it any time of the day. From a distance, crowing sounds quaint. When it’s outside your bedroom window, you start planning a chicken dinner. We don’t have any roosters, because we don’t plan to hatch eggs. {Read More}

I sanded the loose {Read More}

If At First You Don’t Succeed … Do Something Else!
So… I made fabric covered books over the weekend. I didn’t intend to make fabric covered books. I was trying to make a ticking pillowcase. See why I don’t like to sew? A lot of my projects start out as one thing, and end up something else, all because the first project was a failure. I know… how could I mess up a pillowcase? My mom informed me that it’s one of the easiest sewing projects in the world. {Read More}
Shop My Favorite Farmhouse Supplies
There are a lot of things I’ve bought that I’ve had buyer’s remorse over later, but today I thought I’d share some of my favorite purchases that I don’t regret. None of them are fancy, big ticket items, and I use all of them in my farmhouse style decorating in one way or another, and I’ll explain how I use, and why I love each one. I’ve included links so you can shop for the ones you like as well. Some are affiliate {Read More}
DIY Wall Art With Your Own Custom Message
There are lots of ways to make signs, but if you want a simple and inexpensive method, I’ve got a DIY wall art project today that can be customized with your own special quote or message! You don’t need any special equipment, you just need a piece of wood for the sign, paint, stickers, glue and a paintbrush.
