Fantastic Blog Headers
I’m a bit of a blog header junkie. I love the creativeness that goes into designing them, so once a month I like to share a few that I think are wonderful. I hope you’ll discover some new blogs to love!Aren’t the banner and canning jar graphics adorable on the Craft Dictator blog header?!! I love the blue/green color scheme as well.The combination of the pretty old frame and repurposed vintage jewelry makes for a truly unique header by Blessed {Read More}

On the Workbench & Mama’s Boys
I hope you all aren’t sick of seeing my tiered stands, because I have several more to show you – it’s what my husband and I worked on last week. I had a waiting list of people who have requested them through my shop, so my husband and I have been making them as quickly I come across the right components to make them. I love the patina on these kitchen colanders paired with the white spindles. I generally design {Read More}
Antique Photo Frame – Antique Graphics Wednesday
Here’s a beautiful antique cardboard photo frame from the 1930’s that is perfect for digital collage and mixed media projects, or print it out (cutting out the center) to create an actual frame for a photo. It’s a PNG image, so all the background has been removed and you can digitally add your own photo inside the frame. Hundreds more free antique graphics can be found HERE. Caned Wooden Corner Shelf Stand

The stand was in great condition, but the finish on the wood was wearing out and it just looked tired. I didn’t do anything fancy – just painted it white with chalk style paint (I used Blue Minerals powder to make my homemade paint), then distressed it a little here and there. I think {Read More}
It’s all in the details, isn’t It?
When you look at an entire room, you often miss some of the little details that contribute to a room’s personality, yet it’s the little details that come together to give a room its distinct personality.I was photographing this book stack to list in my shop. Looking at a room as a whole, this book stack isn’t likely to jump out and grab your attention, but book covers and spines that show this kind of aging are what draw me {Read More}
On the Workbench and In the Shop
I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween! Our church holds a party for the neighborhood kids every year. I forgot to take my camera with me, but we had a great turnout and I brought several homemade games along, including Bean Bag Toss (using the leftover denim scraps from my Overalls Wall Pocket), Potty Toss (throwing toilet paper rolls into a toilet) and Shoot the Can (Nerf guns at tin cans). Halloween was the last day of my {Read More}
