I studied the data in Google Analytics to find the top 10 posts from 2016.
I discovered that my readers unanimously like old stuff, but not just any old stuff…
You like new stuff made to look like old stuff.
You like old stuff repurposed into new stuff.
And you really, really like farmhouse stuff. 🙂
It makes my heart smile that there are so many other people all over this great big world that love farmhouses and old stuff as much as I do!
So, counting down, here are the top 10.
Number 10
In terms of page views, my Remodeled Entryway came in at #10, but it’s my personal favorite project of the year. The Farmhouse Wood Shutters were actually the final project we finished to call the room done.
Number 9
Coming in at #9 was the Woodland Christmas Guest Room Tour.
It’s one of those curl-up and hibernate-for-the-winter cozy rooms.
Number 8
Every year my Free Printable Christmas Music Pages get tons of page views and are some of my most pinned posts on Pinterest.
Number 7
Chalk Paint has become so popular, so my reviews of Valspar Chalky Finish Paint and Waxes gets lots of viewers who want to know more about them before buying them.
Number 6
The world loves wood totes, so my design of a DIY Farmhouse Wood Tote with Built-In Paper Towel Holder has been very popular. I offer the free tutorial to make them and also ready-made in my online shop.
Number 5
Farmhouse kitchens are so on-trend right now, and my Black and White Farmhouse Kitchen Update came in at #5.
Number 4
Salvaged wood…
Enough said, right?
Here are 20+ Projects Made with Salvaged Wood.
Number 3
And everyone loves an ugly-duckling-turned-swan project, and my Rusty Bike Makeover is that kind of fairy tale story.
Number 2
I was blown away by the popularity of Easy Image Transfer on Glass Jars & Bottles.
It came in at #2.
Number 1
20+ Thrifty DIY Farmhouse Decor Ideas
has been my #1 post every year for the last several years.
Thank you to all the fellow farmhouse decor lovers out there!
Well, that’s a wrap for this year’s top 10. I’m already looking forward to 2017!
A busy year, yes? I’ve loved almost all your projects, Angie. In fact, your post is among my several favorite blogs that I have to read every day. So, I’m looking forward to seeing what you do in the coming year. I think I actually am living vicariously through you! I’d love to be doing more myself but just don’t have the time or work space right now. I’ll just keep reading about what you are doing! Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year!
I always enjoy your fabulous projects, Angie. Keep inspiring us in the new year.
I loved seeing all of your “old” posts, Angie. I’m completely infatuated with your Woodland Christmas Guest Room and your Rusty Bike Makeover. Thanks so much for partying with us at Vintage Charm, and Happy New Year!
