A Rockin’ Coat Hanger
You all know the soft spot I have for broken “junk”. I seem to have a special knack for crossing paths with old, broken chairs. A few weeks ago, when my husband and I went to a neighborhood yard sale, I spotted a pretty old rocking chair. Unfortunately, the seat was broke. I finally have done something with all but 1 of the broken chairs in my workshop, so I could clear some space to actually work on other projects, {Read More}

Bathroom Reveal
We now have one more room we can check off the list of finished spaces in our home! Our new bathroom is specifically designed for the men in my family, so I decorated it with a barber shop theme. I didn’t purchase any of the decor for the room. I used things I already had and created a few projects as well. Antique Graphics Wednesday – 1900’s Bon Ami Advertisements
Bon Ami (French for “Good Friend”) has been in existence for 120 and continues today, though it has weathered tough times, and nearly went out of existence for some time. Shave and a Haircut
I know I’ve said at least half a dozen times that our “men’s room” is almost done. It really is almost done, but those little details and the final cleaning always take me the longest to finish, but I wanted to show you some extra decor I made for the room and didn’t cost me anything. Since it’s a room for mainly the men in the house, I decided to go with a barber shop theme. I had 3 pairs {Read More}
When Opportunity Knocks…
Actually, opportunity didn’t knock – it called my cell phone, but the call was about a door and the lesson is the same…spread the word about being a junk lover, because you never know when someone may remember and send some wonderful junk your way. Last week, I got the phone call every junker loves to get. “Hey Angie, would you be interested in some old doors?” Now, old doors can mean cheap hollow core doors, or old doors can {Read More}
