Antique Clock Face Printable and Tin Can Craft

I’ve been tinkering around with some of my antique clock face images, and turned them into a collage that could be used for all kinds of projects.  I never tire of tin can craft projects, and I’ve been in need of more wall organizers, so I finished a new organizer, using one of the collages, and have the free printable to share with you!

Antique Hymn Page – Let the Lower Lights be Burning

Here’s a lovely antique hymn page from the early 1900’s.  I think this would look lovely as an image transfer onto a candle (tutorial HERE).  Enjoy! Blessings,

Antique Advertisement and Image Transfer Gift for Guys

This antique advertisement for Hartford Tires has such pretty typography and would be perfect as a framed print for a “man cave”, but I’ve also come up with a fun and useful image transfer project that would be a perfect gift!

Antique Advertisement – Fruit Press Kitchen Appliance and Chalkboard Printable

 Here’s an antique advertisement image for a Brighton Fruit Press  from a late 1800’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine.  I’ve included the original image, as well as one with the background removed, and also a chalkboard printable version that would look great as kitchen wall art. {CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE} Here’s the image with the background removed.  This would make a nice image transfer on a towel, or as a sign – just reverse the image with Picmonkey first. The Lord’s Prayer Antique Hymn Page Printable

Of all the beautiful old hymns, my favorite ones are actual passages of Scripture that were set to music, like this, “The Lord’s Prayer” song.  Occasionally gospel songwriters, both past and present, include lyrics that just don’t line up with what the Bible teaches, but you can’t go wrong when you set actual Scripture to music.  It’s also one of the best ways to memorize Scripture, for people who are auditory learners, like myself. This page came from a beautiful antique {Read More}

Antique Clock Face Graphics from School Book

Recently I picked up an antique school book, which was filled with lots of charming illustrations, and of course the first ones that caught my attention were the telling time pages, with antique clock face images on them.  The first day of 2015 seemed like a good time to share them!. It’s easy to print these out, and attach them to old cd’s, or a round piece of wood for an instant “antique” clock face to display in a vignette. Here {Read More}

Peace On Earth & Christmas Reflections

I’m writing this post in the wee hours of the morning on Christmas day, but by the time you see it, Christmas 2014 will be nearly over.  I think of Christmas as a season, not just one date on the calendar, and I’m reflecting on the 2014 season, and even making notes for myself for next year.   Every Christmas season seems to rush by too quickly, and I often feel like I didn’t have enough time to enjoy it as {Read More}

Adeste Fideles – O Come, All Ye Faithful

Here is a beautifully aged antique Christmas music page, of the famous Christmas carol, “Adeste Fideles”, which is latin for “O Come All Ye Faithful”. This could be used in so many ways, but I think the prettiest thing to do with it, is just frame it.  It came from an early 1920’s antique music magazine, called The Etude {CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE} Merry Christmas!

Christmas Bell Ornaments – 1800’s Antique Advertisement

Last year I shared the full-size image of these Christmas bell ornaments with you (find it here).  I think these would look so cute turned into ornaments with Shrinky Dinks,(Amazon link) or strung as a garland, so I grouped them together as smaller images that can be printed on one page (printable below). I had planned to make a bunch of them as ornaments, but I only got ONE done, before I got sidetracked on another project, and never got back to {Read More}
