Last year, about this time, I shared a bunch of beautiful bird illustrations with you, and today I have a few more. Theses are from a 1920’s book. These would be beautiful as enlarged wall prints, or a small grouping of framed prints. They would be really pretty on note cards also. You can use Picmokey to turn the two images on each page into individual images. {CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE} The other bird images can be found here, {Read More}
Antique Graphics Shrinky Dinks Jewelry & Magnets
There are days when painting something sounds like work because of all the clean-up involved, and days when the sewing machine and I are at odds with each other, and days when getting my hands filthy from handling rusty stuff, just sounds gross. On days like that, projects that require nothing more than my scissors, printer and oven, sound perfect. I was sorting through some supplies, and saw a package of Shrinky Dinks that I bought months ago, and playing {Read More}
Alphabet School Primer Page – Antique Graphics Wednesday
I’m not sure what it is about antique school primers, but I absolutely love them. The books for the youngest students, usually included an alphabet page showing cursive or script alphabets for handwriting practice, and those are my favorite pages. These two images both came from an 1898 primer. I think they would make adorable gift tags, or enlarged for printable instant art to frame, but tomorrow I’ll be sharing another project I think these images are perfect for. Enjoy! {Read More}
Printable Vintage Seed Packet Banner
After my I-have-no-inspiration-and-I’m-so-sick-of-this-weather whine last week, I heard from a lot of you, that the gloomy, extended-winter weather so much of the country has been experiencing, is affecting you as well. The calendar may say it’s spring, but I need it to look and feel like spring to get me out of this funk. Since I can’t control the weather, I decided to work on a project that will bring some spring indoors instead. Some time ago, I shared 12 printable {Read More}

{Sonday} When the Roll is Called up Yonder – Printable Hymn Book Page
If you’re reading my blog today, my sincere hope is that when the “roll” is called by God, your name will be on it. Life is short and tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. If you aren’t a follower of Jesus, your Maker and Savior, please, don’t waste another day. At least investigate Jesus today. There isn’t anything more important you’ll do today. Don’t deny what you don’t know. I hope to hear your name when the roll is called…I’ll be there. Blessings, {Read More}
Antique Graphics – Printable Milk Cap Images and Project Ideas
I don’t know about you, but I love antique milk caps. They are just one more example of how packaging was so much better in the old days, than it is today. They are fun to collect, but the images are also wonderful to use on crafts and projects. You can print them out, punch a hole in them and put a string through them to use as gift tags. You can turn them into iron-on transfers for flour {Read More}
Royalty Free Antique Advertisement – Borden’s Milk
This image for Borden’s Evaporated Milk is from an antique advertisement in a 1910 The Housekeeper magazine. I think it would make a wonderful transfer onto wood or flour sack towels (be sure to reverse the image for transfer projects). It is a PNG image, so it can be used digitally, and layered over other backgrounds. This is the complete, original advertisement the image came from. Here it is, reversed for transfer projects.
