Small Side Table Upcyled In Black and White Buffalo Check

Small Side Table Upcyled in Black and White Buffalo Check Do you ever buy furniture at thrift stores or yard sales?  I don’t often, but when I found  a pair of these small side tables at a thrift store for $15 for the set, I couldn’t pass them up. Clearly, the previous owners have kids because they had dried food all over them. As a mom of four, no judgement here! After cleaning really well, it was time to transform {Read More}

Talk of the Town #186

Let me ask you two questions, if I might, before we get into today’s party. On the surface, these questions might seem strange or even a tad nosey, but I hope you’ll understand.

DIY Gifts: Finished Projects Friday: Share Yours!

DIY Gifts: Finished Projects Friday: Share Yours! Have you finished any projects lately?  I’ve completed quite a few projects and I wanted to share them and also give you an opportunity to share your finish projects.  You don’t have to be a blogger. Just snap a photo of your project and link it up below.  I’ll leave it open for awhile. Some of the projects I finished are for my own home and some of them are for gifts.

First Aid Kit Toolbox Makeover for Home or Travel

Farmhouse Mini Towel Ladder Using Wood Lattice Trellis

For a long time I’ve wanted a farmhouse mini towel ladder, and they seemed fairly simple to make. But I just never got around to it. I even almost bought this one or this one on Etsy. Both were under $20, but I still didn’t get one. Then one day I was scouting Facebook Marketplace and saw someone selling five wood lattice trellises. I figured if the price was low enough, I could use them in various spots in my {Read More}

St. Charles Missouri Day Trip

St. Charles Missouri Day Trip Anyone else doing a staycation this year? My husband started a new job, so no traveling for us this summer, other than  a day trip here and there, which is fine.  I really need to just relax and refocus anyway. Guess I’m long overdue to just kick back for a spell. My daughter and I started doing day trips last month. We went to the  Saint Louis Zoo.  We plan to go back and see {Read More}
