I think our family must be going out to eat too often, because lately I keep finding inspiration for projects from paper placemats while dining out. We went out for breakfast on the day my middle son had to return to college, after Thanksgiving break. On the table were paper placemats, that had the mealtime prayers of 4 different faiths on them – you don’t see that very often, do you?

Victorian Little Girl in a Fancy Dress – Instant Art Printable
This beautiful image of a little girl in a fancy dress, is from the cover of a late 1800’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Isn’t it gorgeous? It would look so pretty as a framed wall print. {CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE AND PRINT} This image is the natural color tone of the page. I brightened it up a little bit in this image. Enjoy!!

Welcome day Day 4 of my 12 Days of Christmas celebration! If you love vintage style, then this post is for you, and it’s something every single gift-giver needs – Christmas gift tags and labels! Antique French Advertisement in Fancy Scrolled Frame Clip Art
This image is actually a combination of two images from an 1800’s magazine. The scrolled frame border originally had different advertisement inside of it,that wasn’t terribly pretty, and the antique French advertisement originally had a boring border, so I combined the two to come up with a much nicer version. This would make a great image to transfer on furniture, flour sack towels, etc. {CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE} Here is the frame without the advertisement inside. Here is {Read More}

Clip Art – Antique Advertisement for Sewing Thread
I bought several magazines from the late 1800’s, that have so many beautiful images and antique advertisements, so you’ll be seeing lots of them in the coming weeks. I fell in love with this advertisement for sewing thread, with a hand on it. I think this would look awesome enlarged as a sign for a sewing or craft room. I’ve removed all the background from it here. Here it is before I removed the background. Here is the complete advertisement – isn’t {Read More}
Thanksgiving Printable Place Cards
With Thanksgiving only a little over a week away, I created some pretty place cards that can be personalized with your guest’s names, and there is a place on the back for each person to write what they are thankful for. Even if you don’t have company coming over to share a Thanksgiving meal, these could also be used with your children, making them a nice keepsake to remember what they were thankful for, and to help them remember that {Read More}
Antique Hymn Printable Music – Brighten the Corner Where You Are
I love the title of this music page, from an antique hymn book in my collection. I love that it speaks to the fact that we don’t need to wait until we can do some “deed of greatness”, because we may never do anything if we do. Instead, we should use whatever gifts God gives us to “brighten the corner where you are”. {CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE AND PRINT MUSIC PAGE} I hope you brighten whatever corner God {Read More}
