I’ve come across some wonderful music for autumn and Halloween that are just in time for some fall crafting. The first 2 are from a 1908 school songbook called, “American School Songs”. The next 2 songs were from a children’s songbook called, “The Music Hour”. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do and find wonderful projects to use them on. Blessings, Angie
Antique Graphics Wednesday – Back to School {Alphabet Metal File Tabs}
Since it’s back to school time, I thought I’d share some great images featuring the alphabet. I bought these old metal tabs at an antique store. They previously were used inside of filing cabinets to separate files by letter. Here is the whole alphabet as individual letters. I think there are at least 101 things you could do with these, so I hope you do something fun with them! If you are wondering where #13 went, the letters on it {Read More}

Antique Graphics Wednesday – School Primer & Flashcard Words
Today’s gorgeous images come from “The Cyr Readers – Book 2” & “The Beacon First Reader”.The Cyr Readers was a reading textbook for young school children and was published sometime in the early 1900’s. My book was falling apart, so I don’t have the page that might have included a date. The Beacon First Reader was published in 1913. Not only are the illustrations wonderful, but I love the phonetic spellings included to help the child read the words and {Read More}
Antique Graphics Wednesday – 1888 Advertisements
