Antique Graphics Wednesday – Measuring Cup & Spoons

I love these 2 images of a metal measuring cup and spoons. I think they would make cute images on recipe cards or on flour sack towels. The individual images below have all had the backgrounds removed so they can be layered over other images, using programs like Photoshop or Picmonkey. The magazine these images came from was generously shared by Audrey @ Audrey @ Timeless Treasures. Blessings, Angie

Antique Grain Sacks Banner {Printable}

Yesterday I shared some printable Printable Grain Sack Images with you and I promised that today I’d share some projects I created with these images. This image, from my very favorite grain sack, makes the perfect background for several projects. The first project I made with it is a pennant banner with the word “Family”, but you can add any word you’d like to your banner. I cropped a portion of the image, then had it printed at a photo center into inexpensive 4×6 {Read More}

Antique Graphics Wednesday – Grain Sacks Textures

I love old grain sacks (well, who doesn’t?!), but they aren’t always easy to find at reasonable prices. You can use these images over and over without spending a fortune! You are welcome to use any of {Read More}

Create a Thanksgiving Banner with Printable Antique Bible Page

View Verse of the Day I’m still on a roll creating banners with old book pages and have a few more I plan to design soon, but I wanted to share the most recent one with you, and provide you with a printable so you can easily create your own, with whatever word(s) you want on it. I love the look of old book pages, so I choose antique Bible pages and used a stencil for both the “frame” and {Read More}

Antique Milk Bottle Caps – Royalty Free Printables

I love old milk bottles and their printed caps have such a wholesome, yesteryear look, so I thought it would be fun to share a few I have with you. The nice thing about having the image of the real thing is that although milk caps are small, you can take the image and make it much larger, so there are a lot of projects you could use the images for. I like the red, white and blue colors on {Read More}

Printable Recipe Cards & Antique Graphic for Iron-on Transfer

I may not love to cook, but I do love this domestically sweet image of a woman making custard. It was from a 1910 advertisement for Kingsford’s Corn Starch sent to me by Audrey @ Timeless Treasures. I liked it so well, I decided to create some recipe cards and a flour sack towel with the image. The background for the recipe cards is from an antique ledger page. I’ve removed all the background from the image, so it can be {Read More}
