Welcome to the 2nd edition of my Monthly Recap!
I can’t believe it’s the last day of June already! The summer is just flying by.
I received such positive feedback about the 1st Monthly Recap I did for May, that I decided to continue doing them. Even if you are an email subscriber (and I hope you are!), I realize there may be many days when you didn’t get around to clicking on the link in the email, so I hope this will catch you up on all my posts from June.
I’d love to hear which projects and posts were your favorites this month.
Just click the pictures to visit the posts.
I kicked off the first day of June by introducing you to Jack and Sawyer, our adopted kittens. If you are a kitty lover, you’ve got to go see their photos and antics!
Next, I shared how I created a photo studio in a rental storage unit.
I love repurposing tin cans, and turning them into farmhouse style magnetic planters was really fun!
In this post I shared a few of my favorite photos and past projects … and I whined a lot! 🙂
Here, I tested a product that gives the look of weathered wood and shared the results.
It had been quite a while since I’d made any farmhouse style tiered stands, so I whipped up four new ones (two of them are still available in my online shop HERE). For some July 4th inspiration, I shared this round-up of handmade patriotic decor.
If you love DIY farmhouse decor, you’ll love using this Bess Milk tin can printable on a project!
Here I shared my secret to make brand new galvanized metal look old!
I also introduced two sizes of farmhouse picket fence stencils with two projects made using them.
And I finally got all my stencils under control with an industrial plumbing pipe stencil hanger.
I made a pallet wood sign for my son’s wedding, with the tutorial.
And I shared a few highlights from my son’s wedding … with more photos coming soon!
I held a magazine giveaway – There’s just a few hours left to enter!
I shared a round-up of free kitchen printables.
And I closed out the month with how I plan to encourage my married sons and their wives in their first year of marriage.
Did you spot any posts you missed? I’ll see you in July!
