I’m not familiar with this hymn, but I think the lyrics are important. It’s easy to love God when things are going well in life, but when something difficult, or even tragic happens, the question “will your heart right true?” will be answered by all who know us. Wishing you a blessed day, and that we’re all a blessing to someone else, View Verse of the Day Due to unethical websites stealing content, I can no longer provide a full {Read More}
“Junk” Art – 2 Repurposed Craft Projects
For the last several years at our church’s VBS day camp, I’ve taught a Bible skills class, but I wanted to teach something different this year. We offer the older kids their choice of several project classes, like woodworking, sewing & cooking, and I’m not a pro at any of those things, but I do know junk, so my class is called, “Junk Art”. I’ll be showing them how to make 4 projects during the 5-day camp. My goal is {Read More}
Antique Alphabet School Book Primer Pages
Today, I have some beautiful alphabet images from an 1800’s schoolbook, called, the “Tract Primer”. Antique flashcards are so popular right now, so these pages could be printed, cut apart, and framed as a flashcard. They would also be lovely as framed art in child’s room. The inside cover page has such a sweet image on it. I have many more images from antique school books HERE. {PIN this image now, & Print later!} Blessings, Angie View Verse {Read More}
Knick of Time Tuesday #143 – Link Party and Pinterest Group Board Invitation
Welcome to Knick of Time Tuesday! The last few months, I’ve been brainstorming about how to bring the most traffic to each blog & Facebook page, that share links at this party. First, I created a list of Bloggers on Facebook, and Pinterest. We all gained new followers, but I wanted to find a way that we ALL draw more regular traffic. Since multiplication brings higher numbers than addition, I’ve come up a way to muliply our exposure and created three GROUP PINTEREST BOARDS {Read More}
My Favorite Recent Finds
Since my workshop/storage area is still overflowing, I’ve been limiting purchases for my online shop to things I really love. I’ve found quite a few neat items in the last month, and now that our vacation is over and our company has gone home, I’m finally starting to take photos and get them listed. Some of them weren’t bargain purchases, but I liked them enough to overlook their higher price tags. Of course, I’ll be happy if they sell, but {Read More}
New Tiered Stands and What I Did {and did not} Do in Chicago
Yesterday, I went with two of my sons, for a whirlwind drive up to Chicago. The older son sells specialty cheese at a Farmer’s Market in our town, and he needed to pick up hundreds of pounds of cheese in Chicago. Between worrying about deer on the roads through the rural areas, and crazy drivers in Chicago, I didn’t want him to make the drive alone, so I packed up my computer and camera, thinking I’d get some work done {Read More}
New Book Page Canvas Art Design
It’s been a busy, fun and crowded, 2-1/2 weeks at my house, while my mom, nephew, and niece were here visiting, and I’m sad it’s come to a close. They are boarding the train to return home shortly, and my house will seem too quiet for the next few days. I’m already looking forward to September, when my mom and dad will return for another visit. I haven’t worked on many projects while my mom was here, but a customer {Read More}
