Thanks for joining me for a look back at my top ten favorite projects of 2019!
Looking back this past year, a lot has transpired. My husband took a new job, which is great, but he travels four days each week.
After living on his own for six months, my youngest son moved back home to save money for college. I love having him back, but it means no more craft room!
Our house needs lots of work, especially our bedroom. We started remodeling by adding shiplap to the walls but stopped for some other pressing project, but it’s high time to finish the room.
My health also took a downward turn, so I stepped back from blogging as much as I have in previous years.
The change meant I had to use my left hand more to work on projects. I’m right-handed, so that was hard. I’m working hard to get my right hand working like before.
But I still made plenty of cool projects with more help from my husband.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane from this past year.
All photos have links below them to detailed information about each project.
Pallet Frame Farmhouse Chalkboard
Small Side Table Upcycled In Black and White Buffalo Check
I still have the other identical unfinished table to work on. The only problem is I haven’t decided how to fix it up yet. That’s a project for this year.
Cheese Cloche Upcycled with Buffalo Plaid
That cheese cloche was so fun to upcycle! I’m on the lookout for another.
Thrift Store Vintage Toolbox Turned First Aid Kit
Farmhouse Chickens Thrift Store Wooden Tray Makeover
The person who bought the tray has become a regular customer.
Vintage Farmhouse Barn Wooden Cutting Board Lazy Susan
I sold the lazy Susan cutting board on Facebook Marketplace. It was a Christmas gift.
Farmhouse Style DIY Spring Clay Pots
These pots were a gift for my daughter who loves succulents.
DIY Wood Pallet Garden Rack with Bonus Storage
This hangs in my bathroom and I love how I can hang towels on it and use it as a planter.
My oldest son likes to cook and bake and is collecting family recipes, so I gifted this recipe box to him.
One Child One Star Christmas Box Frame Sign
I made several new Christmas decor pieces, but this was my favorite!

PIN FOR LATER!
I love ALL of your projects. I’m definitely going to make some of those books! I’m sorry you’ve had some health struggles. Praying for healing in 2020.
Thanks so much, Virginia!
Hi Angie,
It is so expensive for young adults to live on their own so I am glad your son is back home to save money for college. I hope your health is improving in the new year and I am happy your husband got a new job sorry he has to be away.
Love looking back at all your creative talents. Happy New Year and may this year bring you less struggles with health and more joy and happiness and new blogging adventures.
xoxo
Kris
Happy New Year to you too Kris!
Beautiful projects here, loving that pallet wood hanging planter. Would look perfect in our garden shed, my daughter has been saying that the rustic look is very trendy at the moment. I think it’s the sort of thing hubby could bang together, will get him onto it asap ha ha … thanks for all the great ideas!
