Repurposed Drawer Plant Shelf

After finding a battered cabinet on the curb and using it for several years, I knew it was time to repurpose it. The cabinet isn’t in good shape, but it made good storage for a time. If we ever hope to finish remodeling our bedroom, that cabinet needs to be gone! So, I upcycled one of the drawers into the PERFECT farmhouse repurposed drawer plant shelf.  And here’s how I did it!

Dollar Tree Books Upcycle Tutorial: Create Custom Books

Dollar Tree Books Tutorial – How to create custom books for your home decor. Way back when I first started blogging, I used to make and sell book stacks using vintage and antique books. But the main reason for using them was I wanted books that are the same {Read More}

Plant Stool Makeover

This post it’s about a poor unloved plant stool that my mother has.   Last year when I visited her it was sitting out on the back porch and I kept telling her it would be so cute if she painted it. When she saw my step stool makeover that was awaiting her when she came to visit, she asked me if I could do something with her unloved  plant stool. Fortunately, I had received a large shipment of transfers {Read More}

Repurposed Book Projects: 10 Ways To Give New Life To Old Books

Repurposed Book Projects: 10 Ways to Give New Life to Old Books I took some time off from working on projects because my sister and niece were here visiting.  My niece went with my daughter on a vacation to Colorado.  They had so much fun.  When they returned, my niece stayed at my house with my sister and we went camping at our favorite cabin in a state park.  This was the only picture I remembered to take.  Whoops!    {Read More}

Cow Screen Print Upcycled Farmhouse Style Planter

Cow Screen Print Upcycled Farmhouse Style Planter Last summer when my daughter still lived at home, she bought a couple of large indoor plants and replanted them in ceramic planters.  Since I never like to throw away anything that might be useful, I held on to the hard plastic pots that the plants came in, and I’m glad I did! I turned one of them into the cutest farmhouse style planter with a cow image on it … Because seriously, {Read More}
